Laverbread is a fine, silky seaweed delicacy, collected from the beaches of south and west Wales. It is so rich in vitamins and minerals that it was suggested that miners ate it to compensate for their unhealthy lives underground.

A semihard wheel of Cheddar-like cow's milk cheese suitable for vegetarians. This cheese won the 'Dougal Campbell Memorial Award' at the 1996 British Cheese Awards, for 'Best Welsh Cheese'. It comes in red versions and with chives and garlic.
