Amethyst deceiver. It may be cooked with other mushrooms in a mixed mushroom stew or served as a garnish to other dishes.
Because of this chilli's overall shape and ruby red colour it is, equally colourfully, known as the 'little willy of the monkey'. They are only about 1.25-2.5 cm (½-1") long. It is one of the many Peruvian chillis and packs a powerful heat of 8-9.
Dogfish, also known as the rough hound (US: small cat). Slightly better eating than the nurse-hound. May sometimes refer to the huss.
