The only American goat, raised in Oregon from Spanish stock. LaManchas are a docile breed, and come in many colours, but their distinguishing feature is that they have absent, or near-absent, external ears, If the ear is virutally absent it is called a "gopher" but, if there is a , the little flap of cartilage it is called an "elf".
