Crab stick. A kind of fish paste loaf formed into a roll, often sealed in a brightly coloured coating and served in slices. The first one I saw reminded of a stick of rock, with a white interior and shocking pink coating. It is often sliced and deep-fried as age-kamaboko.
Soba, buckwheat, noodles in fish bouillon with chicken and spring onions (US: scallions, salad onions).
