A variety of juicy, dark red eating apple which arose in New Jersey and was recorded in 1817 under the name of Black Apple. This apple, which has an unusual, almost resinated flavour, is also used for cider-making. This late-season variety is harvested from early October in South-East England and is at its best from December to March.

The Jersey Jewel is a baby plum tomato of unique shape, similar to a strawberry, with a rich, dark-red striking appearance. Being harvested on the vine, the Jersey Jewel has excellent flavour and texture. It contains high levels of natural sugar giving it a special taste which stands it apart from other tomatoes.
Jersey New is a second early potato with cream yellow skin and flesh. Can be boiled or steamed. Serve hot or cold. Flesh is tender rather than firm. Best served whole.
